I’ll answer your questions one by one.
> Are there women with a 100% success rate?
Yes. The number of male members each woman meets varies, so it’s difficult to give a blanket answer, but there are women with a 100% successful-setting rate.
> What is the general success rate for women’s offers?
It’s approximately 60%.
During the interview, we explain that about 40% of offers may not result in a match, and women join only after acknowledging and agreeing to this.
> I’m worried that even if I’m accepted, I might not receive any offers or have any offers confirmed, making it feel like poor value for money. Would Universe Club be more suitable for people with concerns like these?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will receive an offer after being accepted.
However, when deciding whether to accept someone, we consider whether there are male members we can introduce her to.
Also, SALON has a maximum of 30 male members, so membership is limited. If you would like to meet as many people as possible, we recommend registering with Universe Club, which has no upper limit on membership.
> The SALON staff blog introduces women who have joined. Does being selected by the staff mean they are especially attractive compared with the other female members?

So, because the pass rate is low, you’ve become curious to see how far your looks can take you. In that case, by all means, give it a shot.
If I remember correctly, it should now be possible to register with both the salon and Universe at the same time. (Technically, it’s a little different, so please ask the staff about the details.) You probably don’t need to worry about which one is better.
That said, even if you pass the interview, whether things go well will depend on your own appeal.
Since Kazu has already mentioned it, I assume it’s okay to say this now: until recently, you could join the salon with a monthly membership fee of ¥100,000 as long as your annual income was at least ¥40 million.
From now on, however, it will switch to an annual membership fee, meaning you’ll need ¥1.2 million—the simple annual equivalent—to join. They’re steadily becoming more and more upscale.

I’m Kazu, a male member of both Salon and Universe Club.

Yes, I think people like that would be better suited to Universe Club.
Maybe you’re letting your anonymity get to your head, but judging from the carelessness of saying “worth the cost,” I also feel that Universe Club would be a better fit for you. If the woman I was introduced to came across this way, I don’t think I’d go out with her.
I think the main advantage for women signing up with Salon is that they don’t have to show their face publicly at all. Another minor benefit is that, when an arrangement is finalized, the transportation fee—a tip, essentially—is ¥20,000.
The disadvantages for women, I think, are that there are fewer male members, the competition is intense, and there’s always a chance nothing will come of it. Honestly, if a woman is eligible to register with Salon, she would probably receive far more offers through Universe Club than the number of introductions she’d get through Salon, even if her profile photo had a mask placed over her face.
If you’re comfortable showing your face, I recommend Universe Club.
Since it replaces the annual membership fee, I imagine male members’ expectations for the women introduced to them through Salon are correspondingly high. (Staff, sorry for putting pressure on you!)
