I’m currently a male Black member in Osaka. Is it possible to transfer my registration to another area? Since my previous representative left, I no longer have anyone to consult. Other staff members help me, but I feel they’re a little cold. I became a Black member partway through. I know that Black members can choose their representative, but I haven’t received any information about it. I also heard that advance notices are sent out before an upgrade, but when I asked after becoming a Black member, I was told that they’re only sent to trusted members. I understand that I may not be considered trustworthy, but if that’s the case, would it be possible to transfer to another area?

I imagine transferring to another area would be easy enough. However, I have a feeling the same thing would happen again. First, I recommend going back to the reason you joined the club in the first place and becoming a member the club staff can trust. You might want to do a little brown-nosing（笑） It might also be a good idea to visit the club with a small gift. The gift itself doesn’t have to be expensive. More than that, showing your thoughtfulness by saying, “I’d like to get along with everyone at the club,” may help the staff understand where you’re coming from. And as you do that and have various conversations, you might even start thinking, “I should take things a little more seriously myself…”

Maezawa from the President’s Office here. Thank you for your question. If your current branch wasn’t assigned during a previous campaign, you should be able to change it. You could say something like, “I’ll be traveling to this area more often from now on, so could you change my registration to that branch?” That might do the trick. They may also tell you, “It’s fine—we can handle everything even if you use another branch,” but just handle that tactfully.

I’m Kazu, a male member. I think it’s possible, but are you planning to move between branches until you find a staff member you like? If you mainly make offers to women in your local area, the local branch is probably the one interviewing the women who contact them. So I think it would be better to go through your local branch if you want accurate answers. Before trying to win over women, I believe it’s important to build a decent relationship with the staff, which is why I take my club activities seriously. Making lots of offers was part of that. Universe is a business too, so if you’re a valued customer, they’ll treat you accordingly.
