Question

Among the women who newly registered during the COVID-19 pandemic, there are some who were interviewed online without going to the club in person, and whose profiles feature photos (and videos) taken by the women themselves, right? I made an offer to one of these women who registered online and met her, but in person, she gave a very different impression. After paying the setting fee, the club’s standard ¥10,000 transportation allowance for the woman, and the cost of the meal, I was quite disappointed that I had wasted my time. With COVID-19 cases rising again recently, I understand that it may be difficult, but once the situation settles down, couldn’t all female members who registered online be photographed again in person at the club?

Maezawa from the President’s Office here, answering as well. I think we’ll probably invite you for another photo shoot in about six months, and things may change then. With online registration, it ends up becoming more like an app, so it seems there are some drawbacks as well. After all, the current system (the staff interview process) seems to be something that’s difficult to change.

I’m Paper Airplane, a male member. I agree. If filming is the only way to keep things going, then I think making that difficult decision is necessary. If I were running the business, I’d do the same.
