I don’t see this question come up very often here, but what is the going allowance for an adult relationship with a foreign woman? I know it varies from person to person even with Japanese women, but based on past posts, I’m assuming 50,000 yen is the starting point. Also, if you’re not very confident in English, it seems like the age-related advantages on our side would disappear pretty quickly. Still, since I’ve gone to the trouble of joining Universe, I’d like to make an offer eventually. I’d appreciate hearing from male members with experience. If a similar column has already been published, could you tell me the writer’s name?

I’ve never arranged a meeting with a foreign woman, so this is only speculation, but I think the same approach as with Japanese women should be fine.

If there’s one difference, it may be that she’ll clearly say no if she’s uncomfortable with something.

Of course, every woman has different preferences, regardless of her nationality, so I think it’s best to discuss the terms with her and proceed accordingly.

For now, let’s wait and see if someone with firsthand experience responds.
