I’m also a curvy woman in my late 30s to early 40s, but I’m in Tokyo, so I received five offers in my first month at a club that caters to mature women. I received three through Universe, but two were same-day requests that I reluctantly had to turn down, so I only ended up meeting one person. I hope this helps. I have a question for the staff: Do you publish the average number of offers women receive in their first month at each branch, or the percentages of women in each age group who do and don’t receive offers? Looking at the questions here, it seems like many women register after being won over by the staff’s sweet words and empty platitudes, only to be rejected without notice or receive no offers. Then they search online out of anxiety, learn about the harsh reality, and have their dreams shattered… That seems to be a common pattern. Wouldn’t it be better to explain the harsh reality more clearly during the interview—for example, that women outside the major cities receive far fewer offers than those in Tokyo, or that only a certain percentage of women in their late 30s and early 40s receive offers?

Maezawa here. I believe I explain during the interview that even after registering, half of the women don’t receive any offers. That seems like a pretty harsh reality to confront someone with. For example, you received five offers at the Mature Women’s Club and three at Universe, so you received about 1.6 times as many offers. But when you registered, were you told approximately what percentage of women don’t receive any offers? Could you tell us the average number of offers women receive during their first month at that club, as well as the proportions of women who do and don’t receive offers by age group? For instance, if they explained that a certain percentage of women in their 50s receive offers, compared with a certain percentage of women in their 40s and 30s, I’d like to know those figures. I’d also like to know how many women join each month and how many female members there are in total. Likewise, how many men join each month, and how many male members are there in total? Could you provide those monthly figures as well? I’d also like to know how many staff members they have. When an offer comes in, are women notified by email, or is another method used? I’d appreciate information on that too. I imagine that even at a mature women’s club, there are probably women who don’t receive any offers. Some people may become anxious, search online, learn about the harsh reality, and have their hopes shattered.
