There used to be a campaign where men who joined the salon received a complimentary membership at Universe Club’s Black Class. The banner is gone now, so I assume the campaign is no longer available. However, I believe the complimentary Universe Club membership offered through that campaign was only valid for one year. Since the salon’s matching fee is the same as the setting fee for making an offer to a Black Class woman through Universe Club, I don’t think it makes much difference. Since the fees are the same, isn’t the advantage of the salon that you can meet and talk first before deciding? Also, I don’t think many male salon members get disappointed or overly excited over something like that. I imagine that men who don’t want to meet at the salon with women who are also registered with Universe Club tell their concierge in advance.
