If the photo you initially registered with is heavily edited, and the photos you send afterward are much less edited, the difference may be why they stop responding.

They may just be being polite.
Universe requires you to register with an unedited photo, so if you sign up with Universe, the number of offers you receive should give you an objective idea of how attractive you are.
Besides, why ask for advice about dating apps here in the first place? I think signing up with Universe would answer your question.

I wonder if that’s really true. Maybe I’m setting my standards too high, but I doubt a single guy in his twenties who’s 180 cm tall, graduated from a top national university or Waseda/Keio, is a second son, and earns ¥8 million is still available.
Of course, if you write something like “tea 20, meal 30, adult 100” on a dating app, you probably won’t get any replies.
But if your messages don’t feel overly polished or professional—just naturally written, with a genuine reason for desperately wanting to meet someone—I’d want to meet you.
