I’m not sure which app you mean, but there do seem to be people on apps who offer 200,000 yen per meeting.
That said, there also appear to be many people who disappear after getting what they want, or who offer a low allowance, so it’s hard to say whether you’ll actually meet someone amazing. In that sense, it may be a lot like playing the lottery.
Even if you buy a ticket at a shop that has produced many winners, I don’t think everyone who buys one there will win.
With that in mind, a dating club might be a better option than trying to win the lottery’s jackpot through an app.
You’re free to live however you choose, so there’s nothing wrong with giving it your best shot on an app.

I’m only registered with Universe too—I’m not signed up with any other dating clubs.

It sounds like you’re a member registered with Universe, but I consider myself a generous papa—and a kind one too, or so I say（笑）
That said, although the women I see tell me, “We’re such a great match,” the reality is that I’m an old guy, and when we’re together, we really don’t look like a natural match（笑）
I think compensated dating is about entering into the relationship with that understanding. Apps are basically the same, in my opinion.

Whether it’s through an app or a dating club, it really varies from man to man. A lot of it comes down to luck.
You’re more likely to find financially comfortable men through services where the average male income is higher.
It also depends on the woman’s skills. If you can overlook a few minor issues, get him attached to you, and gradually guide and educate him, he may eventually turn into an unexpectedly generous (well-paying) papa.
I’ve only used Sugar Daddy and Universe Club. I stopped using Sugar Daddy because there were too many dinner-only (no intimacy) men and too many whose appearance didn’t match their photos.

I’ve never used dating apps or had any interest in them.
If you’re a Universe member, that alone should be enough. And if it isn’t, I don’t think going elsewhere will make much difference.
I often see women’s profiles say, “Who you do it with matters more than what you do,” and I think that’s exactly right.
Rather than asking which app—or which club—it really comes down to who you meet, and ultimately depends on you.
