Since it had been several years, I assumed they’d be pretty experienced with papa-katsu, but apparently that wasn’t really the case.
Normally, I don’t think people would say something like that—it’s rude.

Even after several years, being told you still seem inexperienced means you don’t come across as jaded, so I think you should take it as a compliment. That’s great.

Isn’t that one of the highest compliments a papa-katsu woman can receive?
The opposite of an amateur is a professional, which I take to mean someone who makes a living selling her appeal—working in the nightlife or adult entertainment industry, for example.
I think he meant that you didn’t come across as someone in that kind of profession, but rather as an ordinary woman who wasn’t overly accustomed to papa-katsu or too transactional about it.
If you can still give off that impression after several years, you might actually be a professional in your own right (lol).
