I’ve experienced sexual abuse in the past and am currently seeing a psychiatrist.

There’s a man I’m interested in. I don’t like him romantically yet, but I’d like to get closer to him. Should I avoid telling him that I see a psychiatrist or about the abuse I experienced as a minor? I’ve also filed a police report. I’m not trying to tell him so he can do something about it, and if it would put him off, I don’t intend to mention it. However, I can’t have sex. Also, my father used to touch my thighs and other areas while I was growing up. But my psychiatrist told me it wasn’t a big deal and that I shouldn’t worry about it, so this is something everyone experiences, right?
