If by “previously” you mean sometime in the past one or two years, after we replaced our internal system, the men you previously dated should come up right away.
So if you tell us something like, “Please hide all the men I’ve dated in the past,” or “I’m currently seeing the person whose real name is XX, so please hide him,” we should be able to hide them.
However, even with real names, slight differences may prevent a search from finding the person. For example, if you’re seeing someone named Maezawa but ask us to hide “Maesawa,” the names are different, so the search won’t pick him up. We may conclude that there was no Maesawa and assume that the man you wanted hidden has left the service and is no longer active.
(In reality, someone named Maezawa may still be registered as a member.)
I don’t know whether there have ever been cases where someone requested that a person be hidden but they weren’t hidden. However, if you re-register, we can’t tell you whether that man is still a member. So in situations like the one above, it’s possible that he won’t be hidden.

You can be hidden when you re-register, but staff mistakes can definitely happen.
In fact, when I was a blacklisted member, I was once introduced to a woman I’d already gone on a date with and parted ways with as a recommended secret member…
After I explained what had happened, her profile page was immediately no longer available to me, though, lol.

Would it really be possible to keep that hidden? The club knows the real names of its male members. (For information security reasons, not every staff member may know, but the corporation itself does, so they should be able to look it up.)
That said, people make mistakes. You’re right about that. And Universe staff are especially human, if you know what I mean（笑）
But that’s a risk you need to take responsibility for, isn’t it? You know yourself that you’re doing something wrong, so you should be prepared for the worst-case scenario.
If you really can’t accept that, your only option is to aim for a perfect crime. You’d have to come up with a few levels of evasion beyond what you’re asking about, though—and honestly, that would be pretty difficult.
