In particular, hearing from the female members that I shouldn’t put myself down really made me straighten up and regain my confidence. Thank you so much. I also received wonderful advice and encouragement from the gentlemen, and I almost wish I could properly express my gratitude for everyone’s kindness beyond just writing this. Thank you all so much. Taking everyone’s previous advice to heart, I clicked “You seem wonderful” on someone I genuinely wanted to meet, and luckily, he sent me an offer. I’m going on a date with a man I’ll be meeting for the first time this week, and I’m still incredibly nervous. Since I don’t know what he likes, I plan to make sure my hair, makeup, and clothes look reasonably polished, but… Do men pay attention to lingerie? I usually wear a skirt that comes down to about my knees along with a discreet garter belt, but would that be off-putting on a first date? I don’t really like pantyhose because they get hot and stuffy. I’d appreciate hearing everyone’s opinions.
