Your website’s “Introduction to Female Members” says that a female doctor joined the Kobe branch. Is that really true? Do you describe 〇〇〇〇 as a female doctor? This kind of thing is a little disappointing.

💬 Answer from 木田(社長): Kida, the representative, will answer this. So, the occupations listed for female members on the website were not their actual occupations as shown on the members-only site—is that correct? I sincerely apologize. This was something I instructed them to do. I remember saying this about five years ago: “Don’t list their real occupations on Instagram. That would greatly increase the chances of someone identifying them online, right? No man is going to make an offer based sol…

Does having new photos taken actually lead to more offers?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa answers. Women’s photos are displayed in the order they registered. Since many women sign up every day, your profile gradually gets pushed back to later pages. After about six months, it can end up so far back that it’s difficult to find. If you have your photos retaken here, your profile will appear on the first page again. Most men will see the first page without having to search, so having your photo there will attract attention. If a man sees a photo of someon…

Married, 39, no children, based around Shinsaibashi—would there be any demand for someone with these circumstances? I don’t think I look particularly matronly.

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here—I’ll answer as well. If you’re confident in your looks and have a certain age-appropriate kindness, I think you’ll receive offers. The best way to find out would be to come in for an interview at one of our branches. If we feel it may be difficult, our staff will explain that to you. But if we think you’ll be fine, we’ll register you right away.

The man I met through “Suteki desu ne!” has disappeared from my “Suteki desu ne!” list. Why would that be??

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. I think it’s probably one of these: 1. You accidentally tapped “Nice” again, which canceled your “Nice” 2. The man changed his profile from public to private 3. The man deleted his account

Could you tell me about the post-date survey? Are female members allowed to complete the survey after second and subsequent dates as well? I saw an anonymous response from the club saying that male members would like women to complete the survey after second and subsequent dates too, but what about female members?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. If men are welcome to submit feedback after the second date and beyond, then naturally, women are welcome to do so as well. Since anything after the second date is considered a private relationship, the club generally doesn’t get involved. That said, the club is still interested in what its members are like. For example, you may have thought a man wasn’t very good on the first date, but found him to be a nice person on the second. Or, perhaps he seemed nice …

I know I probably shouldn’t ask, but I’ve heard this from men: although I’m registered as Gold, most of the offers I receive come from Platinum members. Do men often make offers to women one class below their own, or is it because there are more Platinum members? Also, do the staff recommend that male members join Platinum?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. > I receive offers almost exclusively from men in the Platinum class. That makes me think you may actually be a woman who could qualify for Platinum. Perhaps you’re getting offers because there are women in Gold who are on par with Platinum. If you aren’t being flooded with offers, then the club’s class assignment was probably appropriate. But if offers are pouring in, then the class assignment was a mistake. I don’t particularly recommend one membership cla…

Thank you as always. I’ve been wondering whether even women who receive a lot of offers may sometimes be getting them from men who aren’t very gentlemanly. Even with an average or slightly above-average number of offers, I feel that having higher-quality men is preferable to simply receiving lots of offers. From the staff’s perspective, I’m curious how many men there actually are who could genuinely be called gentlemen.

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here—I’ll answer this one too. It’s actually hard for us to know which men are truly gentlemanly from the staff’s perspective (we generally don’t get much positive feedback), but if we define “not gentlemanly” as those who receive negative feedback, I’d say around 20% fall into that category. In other words, I think about 80% of men treat their partners gentlemanly. That said, if by “truly gentlemanly” you mean exceptionally gentlemanly, then I’d put that figure at…

Would it be possible to tell me how many male and female members each branch has?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. Which branch’s membership numbers would you like to know? If you’re already a member, please contact the branch directly, and they’ll be able to answer your question. If you’re considering becoming a member, please choose the branch you plan to use and contact them directly with your inquiry.

I’m having trouble because none of them will use protection. They’re all men with families. The risks should be huge, so why won’t they use it…? If I got pregnant, would they just abandon me right away? I’m sad that I’m not being treated with care. If I insist too strongly, it makes the atmosphere awkward, so I gently ask them to use protection, but they still won’t.

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa answers: Male members of Universe are expected to behave like gentlemen. If they don’t, they may be deemed unsuitable as members and could even be forcibly expelled. If you ask him to use one and he refuses, please send your feedback to the club. The club’s position is that from the second meeting onward, it’s a private relationship and the club cannot get involved. However, as long as the man is still a member, whether or not he behaves like a gentleman is importan…

I’m a woman. A few weeks ago, I had new photos taken and viewed them on the preview screen. (I assumed one of these would probably be used as my main profile photo.) However, when I logged in again today after some time, I noticed that the photos had been changed. I didn’t request any changes, but is it possible for the staff to alter the photo selection themselves?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. For example, if you have new photos taken but still don’t receive any offers, we may replace them with different photos, thinking the original ones might be the issue. So if your photos have been changed, you can assume that the staff are making an effort to help you receive offers. Normally, we don’t replace photos very often. However, if you preferred the original photos, please let us know. We may be able to switch them back.

I’m a male member. Sometimes a woman’s profile says to check with the staff, but how are you actually supposed to inquire? As far as I know, phone support is only available to members at Platinum level or above, so should I just send a straightforward email? It seems female members are connected via LINE, and I feel it might be convenient if male members had access to LINE as well.

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. I believe you’re asking how to phrase your question, since what you can and can’t consult us about differs by membership class. However, consultations and simple questions are treated separately. You should be fine calling and asking, “My profile says to check with a staff member. What does that mean?” Of course, questions by email are also fine, and members at Gold level or above can consult with us by email as well. Over the phone, we can only answer quest…

How many male and female members have been forcibly removed in the past, and roughly what percentage of the total do they represent? Would it be possible to provide a breakdown by reason as well?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here with an answer. I believe specific figures are part of the company’s know-how, so there’s no need to make them public. (You might say, “Then just skip the question,” but…) So I won’t share the exact numbers. However, I imagine you’re curious about roughly how many there have been, so speaking from a general sense of things: I believe the number of people forcibly removed from the club each year is probably in the single digits. Sometimes I regret making an offer. Can I cancel after transferring the setting fee? Will the setting fee be forfeited?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here with an answer. Even if you haven’t transferred the setting fee yet, once you make an offer and the woman accepts, the date is considered confirmed, so you can’t cancel after that point. At the moment, we don’t have a system for forfeiting the setting fee. However, you will naturally receive a “warning” (similar to a yellow card), and repeated warnings may result in forced removal from the service. Of course, in serious cases, you may be forcibly removed immed…

Can LGBT people register? Will I still receive offers if I’m open about it?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. Since you’re asking whether you can register, I assume you want to register on the women’s side. I think it depends on which category of LGBT you identify with. I may be misunderstanding, since I’m not very familiar with the distinctions myself, but: For L: The question is whether you’d be okay with male partners. It’s been about two months since I signed up, but I’ve only received three offers… That’s not very many, is it? It’s only been two months, but would it be possible to have my photos retaken?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. > Isn’t that a fairly low number? About half of the women still have received zero offers after six months. So if you’ve received three offers, I’d say that’s above average. It’s definitely not a low number. > It’s only been two months, but can I have my photos retaken? Are there any Black or Platinum women who leave without ever receiving an offer after registering?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. Even women in the Black or Platinum class sometimes leave without receiving a single offer after registering. That said, they usually seem to quit after only a short period—often around a week. Women in the Black or Platinum classes have probably been popular and showered with attention from men throughout their lives. So they may feel that once they register, offers should come right away, and be unable to tolerate not receiving one immediately. As a resul…

I’m honestly surprised that Mr. Maezawa’s answer says, “Even now, women contact me almost every day saying, ‘I wasn’t given the transportation fee…’” In those cases, do the clubs that receive these reports properly “verify” the situation and impose “penalties” on the men? If this happens “almost every day,” there should be quite a large number of men who are forcibly removed from the club for that reason. How many were there last year?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. The penalty for forgetting to hand over the allowance isn’t immediate forced expulsion. It generally doesn’t result in a yellow card, but you’ll receive a warning first. If the issue continues after several warnings, you’ll be forcibly removed. However, in malicious cases—such as deliberately refusing to pay or saying, “Why should I pay transportation costs when she lives nearby and barely spent anything getting here?”—you may be forcibly removed immediately.…

Good evening! I heard that women aren’t able to find out their own class, but when a man sends you an offer, if he has made his profile public, you can receive the URL to his profile, right? If his class is shown as Gold, since Gold-class men can only make offers to women in the Gold or Standard classes, wouldn’t that also allow the woman to figure out that her own class is Gold or lower?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here, answering this as well. > If a man’s class is displayed as Gold, then Gold-class men can only make offers to women in the Gold or Standard classes… > So wouldn’t women also find out that their own class is Gold or below? That’s right. So if you receive several offers, you’ll probably get a rough idea of what your class is. But it’s only a rough idea. I’ve had cosmetic procedures, and I told the staff about them during my interview. However, none of the people who offered to meet me have ever said anything about it. I’m not sure whether they simply don’t care or are being considerate, but there was a question about tattoos in the Q&A box. Are cosmetic procedures also listed as an additional note in the same way?

💬 Answer from 木田(社長): Thank you for your question. Our representative, Kida, will answer. Thank you for informing us about your cosmetic procedures during the interview. It was very helpful. If you disclosed them, there’s almost a 100% chance they were recorded on your interview sheet.
