In my case, I asked about the risk of showing my face and the number of registered male members in a prefecture where papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) is considered difficult, rather than in the Kanto area. The numbers were quite low, so I hesitated and wanted to know whether the branch was genuinely active. That’s why I asked. I thought there might be other women who were hesitant for the same reason.
