I’ve been enjoying going on dates ever since I received an offer, but lately I’ve started feeling that we’re not a good match, so I’ve been turning him down more often. I know I should tell him how I feel, but I’m also worried that I might not receive any more offers. Do women really have no choice but to keep waiting for offers? Is it difficult to take the initiative and do something ourselves?

Kida, the representative, will answer. “I want to actively go out and look for men myself! I want to set off on a journey to find a man who’s a better fit for me!” I understand how you feel. But unfortunately, you won’t be getting any more offers from now on. There are fewer offers than women tend to think. And even if you do get one by some miracle, he’ll probably be someone like Egashira 2:50. What I’m trying to say is: don’t give me this “I’ve started to feel like we’re not a good match lately” stuff. You adapt. You do. There’s no “No, no, I think we’re equals” nonsense here. A dating club is an organization where women adapt to men, let themselves be molded, and become convenient women. Didn’t you know that? The club operators are the ones who loudly say, “Let’s treat women well!” Women themselves aren’t allowed to say that. That’s the rule. “If you want a papa, raise one,” Nanase said at a papa-katsu seminar. While you’re saying, “I don’t know, I just don’t feel like we click anymore,” the man is probably busy looking for his next woman, saying things like, “I’m getting bored lately.” Stop saying these Heisei-era things about being equals or not being compatible. Become a Showa-era woman and adapt to your papa. Eventually, he won’t be able to consider any woman other than you. Only then should you move on to a papa with better terms. It’s not that you become obedient because you’re receiving money. In the end, things work better when the woman is in control. So once you’ve got the man wrapped around your finger and made him lavish something like five billion yen on you, offers will come pouring in. …Maybe.

Maezawa here. If you’ve recently started feeling that you’re not a good match, I imagine things probably didn’t feel that way at first. If so, there may be some underlying reason, so it might be a good idea to take a cooling-off period. It may be difficult to bring it up subtly, but you could tell him something like, “Work has gotten really busy, so I won’t be able to see you for a while, but I’d like to meet again once things settle down,” and then take a break from seeing him for a few months. When you meet again afterward, you may find yourself thinking, “Maybe this is okay after all.” If it’s simply a kind of rut or period of boredom—though perhaps it’s too soon to call it that—it can work surprisingly well. (笑) > Do women really have no choice but to keep waiting for offers? Is it difficult to take the initiative and do something ourselves? The system is basically set up for women to wait, so there may not be a lot you can do, but I think it’s worth trying the following: ① Ask to have your photos retaken Normally, this is only possible after six months, but if the branch isn’t too busy, they may approve a new photo shoot before six months have passed. ② Post selfies Selfies will probably be edited to some extent, but some photos may actually have a negative effect because they’re too far removed from the image shown in your photos taken by Universe. What women think is a beautiful photo and what men think is an appealing photo can be different, so please keep that in mind. ③ Update your comments When you log in to the member page, there’s a place where you can write your own comments. I think it’s a good idea to update them regularly. However, if you repeatedly write things like “Please send me an offer,” people may be put off, so it might be better to post from a different perspective as well. For example, seemingly random comments like “This happened today” can sometimes come across as charming. Of course, if you haven’t received any offers for a long time, it’s perfectly fine to say, “I haven’t received any offers, so please send me one.”
