How likely do you think it is to meet a papa (a male supporter) wealthy enough to make deals behind the scenes at places like Takashimaya?

I’ll answer as Maezawa from the president’s office. When you said “behind the scenes,” I wondered if you meant some kind of shady deal. But were you referring to department-store sales representatives who visit clients? Now that you mention it, I’ve never heard how successful someone has to be before they start getting visits from one. Still, whenever I visit offices like that, there’s usually a painting hanging somewhere, so I assume a sales representative must be coming by. Of course, it could simply be that the person likes art. But when someone displays paintings despite not being particularly interested in them, I sometimes wonder if a sales representative suggested one and they bought it to be nice. That said, I think this kind of department-store sales service has been declining recently—department stores themselves are downsizing, too. So even if you use that as a benchmark, it may reflect a different era.

Seattle. I thought they were going to buy or sell something shady in the Takashimaya restroom. They must have been dealing with a private sales representative. I only shop at Aeon, so I don’t stand a chance 😭

I’m Kazu, a male member. What do you mean by “dealing behind the scenes”? Are you referring to department-store sales representatives? I imagine there are quite a few customers who shop through them. I’m also a client of the sales departments at several department stores. It’s easy to become a client. And since COVID, perhaps because department stores have been struggling, I’ve been receiving frequent invitations from stores I’ve never done business with before.
