It seems the discussion about the new venue is more advanced on Hostlove’s Universe board than here, where a noteworthy, Columbus’s-egg-style proposal was made: “The new venue should be invitation-only.”

Maezawa here with my answer. I’m not sure what the staff at the new location will think, but if it’s invitation-only, only members from Universe will be able to join. If that’s the case, it seems like there wouldn’t be much point in opening a new location. If it’s going to be invitation-only, wouldn’t it make more sense to do it within Universe itself? For example, you could create a tier above Black—Diamond, perhaps—and invite only the more gentlemanly members of Universe. At the same time, it could have a new system and offerings that differ from Universe. Since they would still be Universe members, they could also make offers through the regular Universe platform. Wouldn’t it work something like that? I think people are expecting the new location to offer something unique precisely because it’s a new location.
