I sometimes hear about PJs who live in their papa’s apartment. Are they on a completely different level from other PJs? What are they like? Even as a woman, I can understand why Aya is appealing.

I’m Date◎Yume, a male member. Rather than your level, I think it comes down to your outlook on relationships and your luck with papas. Even if I tried to focus on quality over quantity, a poor old guy like me can’t offer a free apartment, after all（笑).

I’m Aya, a female member. I feel a little bad saying this, but this is the second time I’ve lived in a papa’s apartment. The first time, the papa became too frail to continue, so I thanked him and moved out. I never ask for things myself, and I wouldn’t let someone I dislike rent a place for me either. Rather than juggling lots of papas, getting involved with people who are also seeing others, worrying about catching something, and constantly being afraid of being recognized, I figured it would be more enjoyable and less stressful to receive the affection of just a few papas and occasionally have them rent me a place. That’s how things ended up. I’m fond of the Chinese classic *The Golden Lotus*, a chaotic story about a group of mistresses. There are two characters I especially like. One is the top mistress, Pan Jinlian. She becomes consumed by jealousy and relentlessly puts down the other women, but that also shows just how intensely she loves the protagonist, Ximen, a playboy. She loves him so much that she adopts an “I couldn’t care less about the other women” attitude and goes too far, sometimes causing trouble for Ximen. Even when Ximen—essentially her papa—is困ってても, she doesn’t care. She’s seriously dangerous. The other is Li Ping’er, the second-ranking mistress. She’s honest but also a little calculating, and I feel that Ximen favors her partly because she’s a bit lacking in brains. They’re both scary, but also cute in their own way. Writing this has made me realize that my papas may see me as “a strange woman who’s probably intelligent, but whenever it concerns me, she flies into a rage or gets swept away by affection like she’s completely lost her mind.”

I’m Kazu, a male member. I don’t think there’s any difference in level. If I had to point to one difference, it would be whether or not the woman is willing to take risks. Some women don’t seem to think about the risks at all.

I’m Paper Airplane, a male member. There’s nothing particularly special about it, apart from having it purchased under a woman’s name. It has nothing to do with whether the situation is on a completely different level. A lot depends on what the girl thinks—whether she wants to do it or whether she’s simply not that type. Also, there are probably papas who own several apartments, so letting a girl live in one of those units is something that can be arranged easily and immediately. P.S. There was a period when, for nearly six months, girls kept asking me almost every month to help them find a new place. The girls whose moving costs I covered in full or in part eventually drifted away without me ever once visiting their apartments. The girls who paid for everything themselves, on the other hand, have all stayed in touch. I’ve helped them move, celebrated with them at their new places, and sometimes visited when the opportunity came up. Covering the costs can make you feel a little carried away as a man, but looking back calmly, I wonder if decent girls simply wouldn’t ask for something like that. I can only regret how foolish I was.
