Regardless of the terms, most women don’t want to. Some are afraid of STIs, and others are afraid of getting pregnant.
Since men with money may think, “If she gets pregnant, I can just pay her,” but for a woman, it’s also a question of what to do about a new life—and it could completely disrupt her life.
So basically, I don’t think anyone agrees to it.
That said, things may be different once a relationship has developed and you’ve genuinely become like a couple.
If she really likes the man, she may even decide to secretly have the baby. Then, decades later, she could receive an inheritance...
Accountants and lawyers probably know this, but when they take on an inheritance-tax case, someone claiming to be the deceased’s child usually appears from somewhere. Often, they show up quite a long time later, making amended tax returns necessary and creating all sorts of trouble.
People who need help with inheritance tax generally have substantial assets—in other words, they’re wealthy—and apparently almost every one of them ends up having a secret child come forward.
Sometimes I wonder if they unconsciously created those children in situations like this. Though, of course, they weren’t children themselves, so they presumably knew what they were doing.
Also, many women say they were forced.
The man may believe she agreed, but in many cases the woman feels that he forced her to have sex without protection.
I tell those women that they should get a lawyer and properly seek around ¥2 million in compensation. If they were forced, that sort of amount is entirely normal.
It may also be a good idea to ask a lawyer you know how much would be reasonable if they were representing the person bringing the claim rather than the person defending against it.
Different lawyers have different strengths, so the amount may vary, but a lawyer experienced in this kind of case would probably consider that amount fairly standard.
That’s how wrong it is to force someone.
If both parties consent, there’s no problem, of course.
If you read this and assumed that women agree easily, you’re completely mistaken, so I think you need to rethink that. If you take it lightly, you should be prepared for the possibility that it will cause serious trouble someday.
