I’m Mamiya, and I’ve actually interviewed at an existing private club.
After I joined, they gave me a brief explanation and even showed me how to do my eyebrows. Looking back, it was such an intimidating interview that it felt like they were practically asking, “So, can you start doing this from now on?”
I personally feel that if a club is completely private, the women it attracts may end up being more like sex workers—or, unless they have some very special behind-the-scenes connections, the beautiful women who can become mistresses may already be seasoned professionals.
To make the dreams of men who want to meet more genuine, inexperienced women come true, I believe that being somewhat private—even if it doesn’t become explosively popular—can turn a club into a secret place that only the right members get to enjoy.

Maezawa here with an answer.
The new location hasn’t opened yet, so I suppose it could still be made private from the outset.
That said, even now, I’d say it’s already fairly close to being a private service.
We only disclose the location to members, so only members can come. We’re also limiting the number of members.
When you look at it that way, it seems pretty similar to a private service.
As for the women, we’re also making it possible for women who can’t register with places like Universe to join. The fact that we don’t have a member directory page like Universe does also makes it feel similar to a private service, doesn’t it?
I don’t know how many women belong to clubs that make private introductions, but does being public or private really make that much difference?
If anything, I’d be interested to hear what kinds of women would start coming if the service were private.
