But please don’t worry.
Everything comes down to supply and demand. If no customers sign up at ¥100,000 a month, the price will gradually come down.
On the other hand, if there’s demand and we’re able to offer a service that meets it, we could reach the limit of 30 members and stop accepting new applications.
¥100,000 a month is insanely expensive, isn’t it?
And there are other costs on top of that. If you paid ¥100,000 to paters, you could probably use it for about ten years.
Honestly, I don’t feel like it’s going to work out.
But then again, none of us expected Tamagotchi, Pokémon GO, or papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) to become as popular as they did.
I suppose it might not be such a bad deal if you think of it as having Mamiya and Sakaguchi personally and carefully attend to you, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
