It’s a new club, but if the introduction fee is only ¥100,000, how is that any different from the current Universe Club? Unless you can introduce women in the “¥200,000 and up” range, won’t it fail to become a business for affluent clients?

Maezawa here. At Universe, the introduction fee isn’t ¥100,000 across the board—it ranges from ¥20,000 to ¥100,000. When you look at it that way, I think there is a difference. Of course, if you’ve only ever made offers to women with a ¥100,000 introduction fee through Universe, you may feel there’s no difference. But I think those people are very much in the minority. (I haven’t looked into the numbers, so I can’t say for sure, but I doubt there are many men who have made more than 10 offers and paid ¥100,000 every single time.) If, instead, you mean that you don’t feel any difference when comparing women of roughly the same caliber as those with a ¥100,000 introduction fee at Universe, then I hope you’ll continue using Universe in the future. The new location is for people looking for something new—something that makes them think, “Universe is good too, but this approach sounds interesting as well.” It’s a new place offering a different kind of experience.
