Let me answer—this is Mamiya, who hasn’t accomplished anything yet. It would be impossible to gather high-quality women. We don’t even know where to find them, and our staff certainly don’t have the eye for talent needed to identify them. Even if we did manage to gather them, I think our pool would quickly run dry. That’s exactly why I think it’s worth doing. We’re still just a brand-new club finding its feet. But I may be the only one who feels we’re already succeeding simply because people are talking about us.

Maezawa here. Women aren’t products, so I think “sourcing” is a bit of an odd way to put it. It’s really about how to get wonderful women to join us. To attract women whom men would be willing to pay ¥100,000 just to go on a date with, I think we’ll need to do a lot of things. We haven’t opened yet, so I’d like to keep the ideas we’re discussing internally confidential for now, but we’re considering all kinds of possibilities.
