Maezawa here. Usually, when people say “business trip,” they mean a day trip or perhaps an overnight stay. If that’s the case, log in to your female member page and add a note in the comments section, such as: “I’ll be in Kyoto (roughly this area) on business from [date] to [date]. I’m also available for dates while I’m there.” That way, I think men who want to arrange dates within your current branch’s area will avoid offering dates during that period. However, if your business trip will be longer, why not contact your current branch and ask something like: “I’ll be traveling to Osaka for work starting on [date]. Could you change my registered branch to Osaka starting about a week beforehand?” Normally, your registered branch is changed only when you move. But if you explain that you’d like to meet men while you’re away on business, they may be able to change your registered branch temporarily. (It depends on the branch representative, so please keep that in mind!)
