I think you can tell by putting your finger inside and smelling it yourself.
If there’s no odor at all, that’s impressive. But if it just smells a little, or you’re not really sure, then it should be fine.
What people are talking about here isn’t that kind of smell—it’s more of a “Whoa!” kind of odor. You’ll probably notice it yourself.
If that’s the case, I think you’ll need to do something about it.

I’m a hopeless loser of a male member who’s insanely conscious of his own smell.
Every woman tells me:
- You have good hygiene.
- You’re odorless or smell nice.
So I assume I probably don’t stink, but before joining the dating club, I lived thinking I smelled bad. You can’t tell yourself, right? So I have no choice but to ask.
I have all the women I keep around smell me before and after I shower and tell me what they think. Every time. I ask about my breath too.
I even threaten them beforehand, saying, “If you’re not honest, I’ll break things off!” and then have them smell me.
“Do I stink? How bad is it?”
That’s become my default behavior on dates.
The ones who are used to it will sniff me before I even ask.
There have only been two women whose breath and intimate scent I thought smelled bad, but we were so compatible when it came to intimacy that, surprisingly even to me, I kept one of them around for nearly the longest period ever.

I feel like men are often reluctant to answer honestly when asked about this.
If a man asked you, “Does my breath smell bad?” would you be able to honestly tell him that it does?
If you’ve been seeing several men and find yourself wondering why things never seem to continue, it might be worth considering whether an unusual odor could be the reason.
Also, I feel like women who shave tend to be odor-free more often. Personally, though, I prefer women who don’t shave…
