There’s a man whose rough treatment is so severe that he won’t stop, no matter how many times I tell him to. A gynecologist examined me and said I had been injured. I want to press criminal charges for assault. As more definitive evidence, I want to film or record him continuing during our next encounter even after I tell him to stop. Even with such a legitimate reason, would this result in being banned from Universe Club?

Anyone who keeps doing something that painful and unpleasant without a second thought won’t change even if you confront them head-on. Report him to the club and block him. At the very least, you need to protect yourself. If someone truly cares about you, they won’t do anything—even something minor—that they know you dislike. Akari

I’m columnist Fuu. You’ve put up with far too much. If it hurt, you should have told him to stop. If he didn’t, I think you should have stopped H midway, left the room, gone straight home, and blocked him immediately. It was a mistake to keep enduring it repeatedly. It seems unlikely that the police would take this up as an injury case. You had consented and had H with him several times, and the police have many more serious assault cases to deal with. They would probably suggest pursuing civil damages instead. Even if you took it to civil court, it would be difficult to provide decisive evidence and win. Suppose you had recorded it—how would you feel about the court seeing images of you being fingered? I feel that could be psychologically damaging. Also, if you lose a civil case, the losing side has to pay all the court costs. It seems like a pretty high hurdle. From now on, if someone treats you badly, don’t put up with it—end things immediately. Please give the club feedback so no other female member has to go through the same thing. Let’s wait for your next offer. I hope you meet a kind papa who never makes you do anything you dislike.

I’m Dai, a male member. Are you saying you want to press assault charges against him and seek compensation? If not, I don’t understand why you continue seeing him every time despite not wanting to. Even if you succeed, I think you’ll still be left feeling empty after working so hard just to press charges against someone you dislike. If the issue is that you don’t have any other offers, try taking constructive steps, such as working to increase the number of offers you receive.

I’m Nana Ayase ♡ I woke up from my first nap in two months to this incredibly irritating question… Why do you go every time he calls you? It hurts, doesn’t it? He won’t stop even when you tell him to, right? Why? Why not look for someone else? You’re young, so you must be getting tons of offers, right? I honestly can’t think of any answer other than “why?” Block and delete him, update your profile, and report that man to the staff through LINE so they can hide his profile. Do it immediately. Got it?

I’m Maezawa from the president’s office, and I’ll answer as well. > I want to press criminal charges for assault causing injury. Hmm, I think it would be best to consult a legal professional first. This is just my layperson’s opinion, but given what happened, I feel it may be treated as an issue of whether the conduct was sufficiently unlawful to warrant punishment. It sounds like you’re thinking of gathering evidence from this point on, but I don’t think doing so would offer much benefit. It may be better to end things, forget about him completely, and look for someone new. If you’re saying you might still be willing to see him provided he treats you gently next time, you could send him something like this before meeting: “I told you to stop many times, but every single time you were extremely rough with your fingers, and it was awful. I went to the hospital just in case, and they found a tear. I want you to apologize. If you’re going to do the same thing next time, I can’t see you anymore.” Most likely, that would simply bring things to an end. But if he’s just an insensitive man, he might apologize, and there’s a chance he could change. After he apologizes, if you get him to promise to be gentle, you could say, “I’d like to record it to confirm whether you keep your promise.” That wouldn’t count as secretly filming him, so you wouldn’t be expelled from the club. I had assumed that secret filming was generally something men did, but now that you mention it, women could potentially be expelled for it too. If you tell him about the recording beforehand, it isn’t secret filming, so if you explain that you want to record it to confirm whether he’ll actually treat you gently, I think he’ll agree. If he refuses any of this, I think it would be perfectly fine to end things.
