Could there be a way to tell which women are refraining from dating altogether during a state of emergency or under requests to prevent the spread of infection?

I’m Fuu, a columnist. Profiles are listed in order of registration date, so if you look through them from the top, you’ll find female members who have either come in for an interview recently or recently confirmed that they want to continue. I believe there are very few of the women shown near the top who would turn you down because of COVID. Even if someone tells you they won’t go on a date due to the current state of emergency, you won’t be charged a setting fee unless the date is successfully arranged. So feel free to make plenty of offers and enjoy yourself. Since it’s just two people meeting one-on-one, let’s help keep the economy moving by spending money at restaurants.

I think you should just go ahead and make offers openly, but people who are still concerned about the state of emergency have probably hidden their profiles anyway. As long as you don’t talk loudly, shouldn’t it be fine? Instead of sitting across from each other, sit side by side and whisper—you can keep anything that shouldn’t be overheard from being heard, right?

Maezawa from the President’s Office here. Basically, any women currently visible on the site can still receive offers even while the state of emergency is in effect. Women who don’t want to receive offers during the state of emergency will usually contact the club with a message like, “Please hide my profile until the state of emergency is lifted.” We then hide their profiles accordingly. That said, there may occasionally be women who forget to contact us. In that case, they’ll let you know when you make an offer, and they’ll probably wish they had contacted the club sooner as well. So please rest assured that no woman will go on a date feeling uncomfortable just because you made an offer. Feel free to make an offer as usual.
