You may have joined recently, but this is simply Maezawa-san’s usual stance. He’s always been consistent. Because the question box is anonymous, people sometimes take advantage of that and write whatever they want, including some really awful things. When the club needs to clearly and concisely communicate its official position, I don’t think pretty words alone will get the message across. I trust him because when a member needs to be told to stop, he’ll plainly say, “You should quit.” That’s much more honest and refreshing than saying, “Please, don’t quit,” to someone’s face while secretly thinking, “Hehehe, let’s milk them for all they’re worth.” One of the good things about Universe is that they disclose information openly. As for the “it’s volunteer work” point—so what? Let me tell you something. When Maezawa-san answers questions early in the morning or late at night, that’s probably not during his working hours. In other words, he’s usually answering questions as a volunteer too.
