The reason I think it would be difficult is that an existing male member might mistake you for someone else because your name is different and make you an offer again.
If the staff didn’t notice either, they might arrange the date as usual, only for the man to say on the day, “Wait, haven’t we met before?”
That could lead to a complaint against the club. They might even say, “You didn’t notice because she changed her name? Or did you actually notice and do it on purpose?”
At that point, all we could do would be to apologize profusely.
Considering that risk, I think it would be difficult to treat you as a completely new member.
However, changing only your name may be possible.
If all your other information remains the same, the system may show that you’ve been previously matched with someone. That said, we recently replaced the system, so there’s also some concern about whether it can properly detect past data.

If they did that, the proportion of new male members would rise just as it does among female members, while the number of men who remain active would fall. So I don’t think they would ever do it.
