Come to think of it, the person who posted that tweet that drew criticism before was also in marketing. P.S. Wait, isn’t that line from the drama Dragon Zakura 2?

I meant it as a cool, tongue-in-cheek comment along the lines of “If you’re dumb and ugly, go to the University of Tokyo,” but I’m sorry that my careless remark upset you. I usually work from home. I occasionally go into the office to film YouTube videos, but rest assured, there’s no chance of running into me. The staff besides me, as well as Universe and the “Sell Your Friends” referral system, are all wonderful, so I hope you’ll continue to support us.

I’m Kazu, a male member. You don’t need to worry about Mamiya-san. They handle marketing and normally aren’t involved in interviews at the branches. They apparently help out with interviews at the branches occasionally, though. If you want to avoid Mamiya-san, I’d suggest staying away from Shibuya, Ginza, and Yokohama. They’re unlikely to be in Hokkaido or Fukuoka, and Niigata might be an even safer bet. By the way, the comments Mamiya-san writes on behalf of the club are great, and I often get drawn in by them. Adding this after reading Mac-san’s answer: > “It’s the whole ‘If you’re an ugly girl who doesn’t get offers, sell your friends!’ thing, right?” I went and looked into whether they really said that. Apparently, they did make a comment along those lines. They also wrote that two members quit because of that tweet. I wonder if making inflammatory remarks is something Universe Club is known for...
