The unpopular protagonist rents a girlfriend, which makes his ex-girlfriend jealous, while a younger rental girlfriend starts developing real feelings for him. There’s also plenty of fan service and some erotic elements, so it was a good manga. (Otaku here ^_^)

With rental girlfriends, it seems men aren’t allowed to touch the women at all, and it’s apparently paid by the hour.
So if a woman is good at talking with men, she can get repeat customers, which seems like a better deal than Universe to me.
(That is, for women with Dating Type A.)
I also feel that most men wouldn’t think anything of a woman having that kind of part-time job.
Since men can’t touch them in the first place, I don’t understand what exactly those who dislike it find objectionable.
