Funny how things look when you switch the genders around(笑)
“I want to meet a wonderful man who can give me experiences I normally couldn’t have and take me to restaurants I wouldn’t usually be able to visit.”
And yet, when he’s stingy or offers too little, why is it that you only care about the money?
Why not just be honest and say it simply:
“Wouldn’t it be better to date without money involved?”
↑ No way〜〜 lol. What they’re saying makes no sense, right?
The club is simply a place that provides opportunities to meet people.
There are male members who are like ideal papa-katsu supporters, wanting to support a woman’s dreams. But most of them—almost all of them—aren’t acting out of pure selflessness. Fuu also sees it simply as paying for enjoyable time with a young, cute woman who also has a good personality, including intimacy.
If the experience isn’t worth the cost, or they don’t feel they’re getting good value for their money, they’ll simply make an offer to someone else. It’s a free-market system(笑)
PJ, please feel free to use that compensation for your dreams, beauty treatments, living expenses, hobbies—whatever you like.
That way, it’s win-win for both sides.
The idea that male members should just pay money and get nothing in return is lose-win. There’s no way they’d agree to those terms.

There’s no way a man who simply wants to support a woman’s dreams or purely wants to give her money (assuming such men even exist) would join a dating club, right? LOL

> Isn’t this just a man’s ego, trying to dress up the fact that he simply wants to have sex with a cute girl in nicer-sounding terms?
If all you want is sex, then you don’t need to pay an allowance, right?
You don’t want to support her, so you won’t increase the allowance.
Please go along with the man’s ego.
Is that really the better option?
I’m not quite sure what you’re trying to say. You may think that living only by one’s true feelings is a good thing, but it also seems like it could make things rather harsh and unpleasant.
Especially in Japan, there’s a culture of reading the atmosphere, so I sometimes wonder whether a world without any polite niceties would really be a good thing.
That said, men who don’t offer the allowance a woman asks for and try to negotiate it down probably don’t actually want to support women. As you said, they’re acting solely out of male ego:
“If I pay this much, that should be enough, right?”
“She’s not worth that much.”
Men who properly listen to what a woman wants are, at the very least, probably trying to support her.
Even if intimacy is involved.

Would you keep letting some random old guy around there have his way with you for free, like you’re doing him a favor?

No, no—it’s not ego. It’s because I’m horny. I don’t say nice-sounding things because I’m egotistical; I say them because I want to do something erotic, and I’ll say whatever nice-sounding things I need to for that.
Anyway, the cause is simply that I’m horny.

Come on, obviously that’s just a pretext for having an adult relationship (intimate). Why are you talking like some naive maiden? Paying money solely to support someone’s dream would be like buying a movie ticket and then leaving without watching the film. Does anyone actually do that?
As for these girls’ “dreams,” most of them are probably orthodontic treatment or full-body hair removal, aren’t they? And what kind of connection is there between getting hair removal with money from some balding old guy and her dream? Let’s give it the benefit of the doubt and say it really is a legitimate dream—then she could raise the money through crowdfunding. Why come to a dating club?
You don’t have to tell the whole truth about everything. When both sides understand what’s really going on, isn’t it simply good manners to wrap it in a suitably beautiful euphemism? Manners are a virtue. I think you should grow up a little.

The club is a place where men’s desires (intimacy) and women’s desires (money) are met quickly, so idealistic niceties don’t really apply.
Outside the club, I might support someone, but in that case, we would already have built a personal relationship, and I’d want to support her because it’s something she genuinely wants to do.
There can be a relationship there that goes beyond money, and intimacy isn’t necessarily required.
But with the club, the reason people join and what they’re looking for is a better intimate relationship, so support without intimacy isn’t really an option. It’s the same as how you, the person asking the question, can’t even imagine going on a dinner date without receiving money.

If I were a papa, I’d want to support the dreams of a woman I liked enough to want an adult relationship with—especially one who also became attached to me, came to like me, or otherwise made me feel she was genuinely interested. It’s not about giving money to just any woman, after all.
So if I realized the questioner felt that way, I’d stop giving her money.

I agree.
I do think he’s being rather desperate, but since he isn’t actually causing the questioner any harm, please just leave him alone.
Still, I’ll try to answer the questions being asked.
> Why does he ask for an intimate relationship while saying he wants to support women’s dreams?
I think it’s because he wants to support the dreams of women he’s intimate with.
He probably has no desire to support the dreams of women he can’t be intimate with.
> If you’re going to say something idealistic like “I want to support her,” wouldn’t it be simpler just to give her money?
As I said earlier, I think he doesn’t simply give money because he probably has the order backwards.
Thinking that simply giving money is enough is also an ego-driven view.
