Exactly—meeting for the first time at a station ticket gate seems out of the question, right? I thought so too.
Apparently, though, some clubs consider it acceptable. So it’s probably best to let the club know your preference. If the male member understands the situation, it can even serve as an icebreaker, haha.

Since there are no set rules for where to meet, I think you should ask the club to add a note to your profile saying that you’d prefer to meet somewhere discreet, away from prying eyes.
In my case, I have one PJ who’s bad with directions, so she asks to meet at the station ticket gate. I meet her there.
For everyone else, I accommodate their preferences—for example, meeting them directly at the restaurant.

There aren’t any particular rules about meeting locations.
> Honestly, I feel uneasy about crowded places.
1. If you tell us during your interview that you don’t like crowded places, we’ll note it in your profile.
2. Even if you didn’t mention it during the interview, you can consult with our staff later, and we can add it to your profile.
3. Also, when a man sends an offer, it includes his preferred date, time, and meeting place. If the timing doesn’t work for you, you can suggest around three alternative dates and times, explaining that his proposed timing doesn’t work.
Likewise, if you’re uncomfortable meeting somewhere crowded, you can ask the staff to tell him something like, “Would it be possible to meet in a hotel lobby instead?” We can pass that request along to him.
That said, some men may decide to choose another woman if that’s the case, so it’s probably best to keep that possibility in mind.
However, if a man would choose someone else over something like that, he may also be the type to insist on getting his own way after meeting. In that sense, it may simply mean you were better off not meeting him.

There are no set rules about where to meet. If crowded places make you uncomfortable, I think it’s fine to say so in your reply.
