I don’t know the exact figures, but out of the 30 men I’ve met, one papa (a male supporter) has continued for four years, and around three have continued for two years. More than one in ten arrangements last over a year.

Though the rating would be revoked if even one woman filed a complaint.
It could even be mentioned when making an offer: “This gentleman is a three-star papa.”
Or something like that?
Though maybe it wouldn’t really serve much purpose...

I’ve never had an arrangement last more than a year. Even at most, it lasted around 10 months.
When I was in ordinary relationships or affairs, they lasted three or four years. But with papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), I feel like things can end so easily over the smallest issue.
Wouldn’t you simply not want to continue seeing a woman whose appearance doesn’t satisfy you in the first place?
