Which days of the week are papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) most active? I only have weekdays off because of work, so I’d like to know whether I could still participate. Is it really difficult unless you have weekends off? Thank you in advance.

If you’re going to let loose, Friday or Saturday is the way to go. So those who prefer weekdays still have a pretty good chance. As they say, “Friday is the day of reckoning~♪” Good luck!（笑）

I’m Basil, a male member. Personally, I have weekends off, and unless I happen to be especially free, I’m active from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. There may be fewer members available then, but wealthy people—such as business owners—often have more freedom with their schedules. So meeting people like that may actually be more likely on weekdays. I don’t think you can say across the board that it’s difficult to be active.

Kazu-san has already posted the link, but to quote the figures again: Monday = 97.0% Tuesday = 98.4% Wednesday = 95.6% Thursday = 106.7% Friday = 115.1% Saturday = 106.7% Sunday = 80.4% If those numbers are hard to interpret, let’s assume there were 97 dates set up on Mondays. In that case, they would mean: Monday = 97 dates Tuesday = 98 dates Wednesday = 96 dates Thursday = 107 dates Friday = 115 dates Saturday = 107 dates Sunday = 80 dates So, date arrangements are relatively common on Fridays and relatively rare on Sundays. Based on this, people who can only take weekdays off don’t seem to be at a particular disadvantage. The people at the biggest disadvantage would probably be those who have Sundays off. On the other hand, since many people have Saturdays and Sundays off, dates tend to be concentrated on Fridays and Saturdays.
