If it’s an outfit he said he liked, it’s also a style men tend to like, so even if you wear it several times, you can just say:
“〇〇 said you liked this outfit, so I ended up wearing it again.”
I think that should be perfectly fine.
Ideally, you could buy something similar, but that can be pretty difficult.
Also, if he doesn’t want you to wear the same outfit again, he can simply buy you something himself.
So as long as it’s an outfit he said he liked, I think it’s completely fine to wear it again.
