I think it’s when you can’t hide your feelings—like when you’re sulking. If the other person gets like that, I’ll sincerely apologize, no matter how many years younger she is.

I’m Tan from the staff, and I’d like to answer as well.
The youthfulness we notice during interviews often comes through in the way someone speaks and in their gestures. Many younger women have a charming, personable quality, which is lovely.

Thanks for your question.
For example, when a woman says during her interview:
“I’m confident in my conversation skills, so I can keep even older men entertained.”
But then the conversation doesn’t flow at all…
That sort of thing, maybe…
I suppose she just isn’t really trying when she’s talking to the staff. But if you don’t make an effort with the staff, you’re not exactly making a good impression…
It makes me think,
“So this is what youth is like…”

I really feel how young they are when I hear them say things like, “I’m already 23, so I’m basically an old lady now.” The same goes for 22 or 24. It makes me wryly smile because, in many ways, they clearly don’t see themselves objectively.
I’m not from the bubble era either, so when I hear stories about that time, I usually just listen. I’ve heard some entertaining stories about the bubble era from other older people, so I sometimes share those stories with people from that generation. Some stories are interesting to anyone, so I imagine the people the questioner has met so far simply didn’t have very interesting stories to tell.
