I think men who want a monthly arrangement probably want to have the woman more exclusively to themselves, so it may feel more demanding as a result. But on the other hand, that also means there’s a good chance some of the woman’s requests will be accommodated. After all, he wants a monthly arrangement because he likes her that much. That puts you in a position to make certain requests, so if he messages you a lot, you could say something like, “I’m sorry, but I can only reply around this time.” Of course, he may say, “You can at least reply at other times, can’t you?” But you could explain that you also have messages to exchange with your friends and so on. I also feel that setting a specific time each day for replying could make the arrangement feel a little less demanding.
