You don’t hear this very often, but apparently, when a man tells a woman to leave the service, she may wonder, “Why isn’t he leaving too?”
In many cases, the woman initially thinks the man has also left, only to find out later that he actually hasn’t.
Apparently, though, they don’t say anything about it. They figure there’s no point, and eventually come to accept that’s just how things are.
That’s the kind of thing I’ve heard.
It seems that more serious-minded women tend to be particularly hurt when they discover a man has lied to them.

Not really. Maybe it’s because male members can view the female members on the club’s website, but female members can’t view the men?
The only other possibility I can think of is that the female members just don’t feel that strongly about them… Oh…orz
