I’m starting to wonder what makes someone a “wonderful person,” and what makes us see someone that way—whether it’s people who cause trouble through papa-katsu or people who cause trouble at home.
Still, when the chairman of a company worth hundreds of billions of yen gets into a dispute over an allowance and ends up choking someone, how is he any different from the well-off members of Universe?

And it’s not always the case that more information will come out later. Rumors and misinformation may also spread.
Ultimately, I think it’s dangerous for other people to comment without knowing the circumstances.
That said, I believe I’ve come to understand that just because a man entered the room, it doesn’t mean he can do whatever he wants. For example, if a woman tells him to use a condom and he refuses, she may be able to take the matter to the police if she chooses to pursue it seriously.

I’m in Seattle.
Apparently, as people age, the frontal lobe shrinks and they become less able to control themselves. It’s sad to see someone disgrace themselves in their later years.
They say romance is good for preventing cognitive decline, too, so I want to keep at it—not only to avoid ending up like that, but also to help keep my mind sharp.
But if you just pay for things like that company president did, you’ll get senile unless you also make an effort with the give-and-take. Being active with Universe Club also helps prevent you from becoming a perpetrator.
