Reducing the allowance without saying anything and doing it out of the blue makes him an absolutely terrible man. I think it would be helpful if you could at least let the club know that the man turned out to be this kind of person. Something like: “One day, I suddenly found that the amount in the envelope had been reduced from what we had agreed on. When I asked him about it, he said it wasn’t a mistake. I was shocked to learn that, despite trusting him, he was a man who wouldn’t keep his promises. I’ve decided to end the relationship, but I’m sending this feedback so that no other woman has to go through the same thing.” There won’t be any particular penalty for the man, but the staff are only human, so I imagine they would be less inclined to introduce good women to him.
