Everyone has both good and bad sides. The fact that you’re able to notice someone’s flaws probably means you’re also seeing their good qualities. Still, after years of habitual thinking, you may have become more inclined to focus on other people’s faults while overlooking your own.
No one is perfect, so I think it would help to practice taking a broader view and comparing them with yourself, thinking, “Well, I suppose that’s just how people are.”

Thank you for your question.
> When you say to find the other person’s good qualities, do you mean forgetting about the bad ones even when you notice them?
I’m sure you’ve interacted with many people throughout your life. When you noticed something you didn’t like about someone, how did you handle it?
Or how did you deal with it when you were dating someone? I think the basic idea is the same.
If the bad outweighs the good, you end the relationship. Otherwise, you probably tried not to worry too much about the bad points.

Try to accept even the less appealing aspects as part of the other person’s individuality.
And when it comes to the opposite sex, approach them with curiosity, assuming that your differences may be as great as those between entirely different species.
Also, the very fact that you find yourself feeling that way, as described in your question, may itself be a sign of how fortunate and blessed you are.

It may be more or less the same as “forgetting the bad sides even when you notice them,” but I think it means not worrying about them or simply letting them slide.
I’m not sure how you’d train yourself to do that. Once people are past twenty, their personalities are pretty hard to change.
If you live with more composure and generosity, little things may stop bothering you.
