Thanks for your question.
Hmm… I’m not entirely sure I understand, but there’s a man close to you who’s controlled by his sexual desires, right?
I’m jealous.
If you use his sexual desires as leverage and ask him for money, that means you could receive anything from 100 million to 200 million yen—or as much as his assets allow. That’s quite something.
If he won’t give you any money, though, I get the feeling he isn’t actually controlled by his sexual desires.

A man with no sex drive has no reason to exist—he’s basically no different from a monkey figurine. Since he wouldn’t need money to date anyone, he wouldn’t earn or work either, so there’d be no point in being alive.
If sexual desire didn’t exist, Universe Club would go bankrupt in an instant. Every living creature on Earth would become extinct within a single generation.
As for you, I think you could solve most of your problems by avoiding unnecessary spending and watching your savings account grow every day.

It’s Joe.
I have a few counterarguments.
First:
From a biological standpoint, it’s probably wrong to ask whether apes or humans are superior. For more details, read *A Beautiful Biology Lecture*.
Second:
Don’t you think that, regardless of gender, a person’s life can sometimes be influenced by sexual desire—or rather, sexual energy? I can’t fully agree with Freud, but you might want to read some of his more accessible works, such as *An Introduction to Psychoanalysis* and *The Interpretation of Dreams*.
You may come to understand why you ended up asking such a question, and why you feel uncomfortable addressing men with such reverence.
By the way, Princess Nana is making adorable little sleeping sounds beside me. Even though I’d resolved to break things off with her time and time again, we ended up having sex again.
Ah, I’ve just realized that, as expected—or at least in Joe’s case—the questioner may have a point. But I don’t want to cut off my penis, because it sounds painful. That said, there is a possibility that my furious wife might castrate me. I’ll be careful.
Unrelated, but I didn’t know the Abe Sada incident happened in 1936—the same year as the February 26 Incident. Questioner, did you know that?

It sounds like something unpleasant happened.
I don’t think I’m that controlled by my sex drive, and I don’t think cutting things off would make it go away, so I’ve never felt like quitting for that reason.
Come to think of it, I once read that sexual desire is the motive in only a minority of sex crimes. Stress was cited as one of the reasons sex offenders commit crimes.
If that’s true even for sex offenders, then the assumption that someone acts solely out of sexual desire may itself be mistaken.
Since dating is based on mutual consent, I don’t believe it’s a crime. But, to be honest, what prompted me to join a dating club was less sexual desire and more a way of coping with the stress of being shut in during last year’s stay-at-home period.

“Don’t you ever feel so controlled by your sex drive that you want to cut it off yourself?”
Isn’t that question logically strange? If you were truly controlled by your sex drive, wouldn’t you absolutely not want to cut it off? I suppose you might want to if there were a “real self, not controlled by sexual desire, who is angry at the version of you that is.” But that’s a pretty complicated setup.
If I try to infer the background and answer seriously, men are driven by sexual desire. That’s just how it is. Sex drive is necessary for living organisms to continue reproducing, and it’s deeply ingrained in us. Seeing someone as a woman means your sex drive has been activated. Animals are even more straightforward about it, right? It’s common for a pet dog to try to mate with another dog while out on a walk, or to climb onto a person and start thrusting its hips. The only difference between humans and animals is that humans are always in heat.
I assume you posted this because you find it annoying, but that fact isn’t going to change. It would be more constructive to accept that premise and think about what to do from there.

Questioner, things seem pretty heated here.
Well, that happens sometimes. We’re only human.
When you feel that way, it’s better to express your feelings honestly and directly. Better yet, try shouting these words out loud just as they are.
Bottling up your emotions isn’t good for your mental health, so let them out.

That’s a great question—I’ve honestly never thought about it before(笑)
I do think men have strong sexual desires because they’re driven to pass on their genes. All animals are like that; it’s simply part of being a living creature.
That said, it’s never once crossed my mind that I’d want to “cut it off” myself, and I’ve made it this far(笑)
I try to look at things from different angles, but this time I feel like I was caught completely off guard(笑)
As for “male members,” I think it’s a way of putting men on a pedestal. Why add the honorific “-sama”? I suppose that depends on each person’s position and perspective.

Sharp observation—you’re exactly right.
I have no objection whatsoever.
That’s exactly how it is, plain and simple. Men are idiots—below monkeys, even. I’m fully aware of it.
