I’m Marika. I’m around the same age and receive a decent number of offers, so I’m living happily. That said, I joined a little while ago. When I joined, I remember seeing somewhere that applicants had to be 40 or younger. I also entered my age on the application form and mentioned it at the interview, but I was still accepted. So I think the age limit is probably just a general guideline. If they think someone is likely to receive offers, they’ll accept her; if not, they won’t. If you ask over the phone, they may give you a rigid no, so why not just go ahead and book an interview normally? Sorry if things have become stricter than they used to be.

Just like during last year’s state of emergency, the screening standards have been relaxed now that we’re once again under a state of emergency. At this point, I think almost any woman other than those with serious issues can register. Please come in for an interview as soon as possible. Also, if you’ve interviewed with us before but weren’t accepted, there’s a chance you may be able to register after a second interview. The key is whether you can make it to the interview stage. But if you do, I get the feeling that you have a good chance of being accepted right now, during the state of emergency. I may have mentioned this before, but many of the women who weren’t accepted were wonderful, and there were even some whose rejection I couldn’t understand.

I like that you don’t say, “People tell me I look young.” Still, everyone seems to ask questions without reading the “About Membership” section. When I was considering joining, I read it thoroughly.
