Recently, I’ve entered into an adult relationship (intimate) with two women in succession. After my shower, I went back into the room and found that my underwear had been neatly folded. I was incredibly surprised and touched because no previous woman had ever done that for me! (Delighted) My question is, is this something women these days do as a matter of courtesy? Or did I just happen to meet someone like that? P.S. The allowance was perfectly ordinary. I’d appreciate your answers.

I’m Meg, a female member. I keep things reasonably neat so I can get dressed quickly afterward. But some men also tell me that it’s fine to leave things as they are. If you’re not very close yet, they may not appreciate you tidying up their clothes without asking, so it’s probably best to say something first.

Maezawa from the CEO’s Office here. Thank you for your question. I don’t often hear about women folding their partner’s underwear. However, some women get into papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) without really knowing how things are supposed to work. If her first male partner taught her, “You’re supposed to fold underwear,” she may have taken that at face value and continued doing it ever since. In that case, I’d say she’s a straightforward and considerate woman. That said, I was surprised reading the other answers: Is it customary in the adult entertainment industry for women to fold men’s underwear? If so, she may have been taught to do that there. Either way, I’m sure she folds it for the man’s sake, so it doesn’t change the fact that she’s a wonderful woman. Rather than overthinking it, I think you should treat her well because she’s a wonderful person.

This is Marika. I don’t like people touching my belongings without permission, and I wouldn’t want them to think I’d touched things like their bag either, so I don’t do that. Also, I never imagined there were men who would be so touched by something like that. I learned something new. Though I still won’t be doing it. And yes, it does make me picture women who work in that sort of business.

I’m Flag Maker, a column writer. I tend to think negatively by nature, so from a skeptical perspective, I might suspect she has experience working in the sex industry. From another angle, though, I might think she’s checking to make sure there aren’t any hidden cameras.

I’m Kazu, a male member. So, are you saying that both of the two women you recently started adult relationships with folded your underwear for you? That’s unusual. Personally, though, I’m not the type who likes women touching my things without permission, so even if one of my partners did that for me, I probably wouldn’t be able to appreciate it wholeheartedly. Still, I could really feel how happy it made you. Good for you. I’ve never had anyone fold my underwear, so I think it was just a coincidence. But a coincidence squared would be a coincidence upon coincidence. That really is rare. The site system seemed to be acting up, so no questions came in today and I was starving. A tasty question after such a long wait! And it wasn’t another allowance-related topic I’m getting tired of, either! I’m delighted! Thanks for the meal. Oh, when you mentioned women who fold men’s underwear, it reminded me of soapland hostesses. Could it be…? Maezawa-san: > If the first man had taught her, “Underwear is meant to be folded,” > I feel like she might have assumed that was just normal and continued folding it ever since. That is certainly possible. Come to think of it, when I was young, I remember hearing from a rather mischievous friend that women with little sexual experience tend to assume that whatever their partners teach them is normal. I thought, “That makes sense.”
