For example, at a Yoshiwara establishment with a total price of 65,000 yen, the woman’s share is 40,000 yen. If she sees four customers in a day, that comes to 160,000 yen. Even after 10,000 yen is deducted for expenses, she takes home 150,000 yen. That’s an example involving a popular woman; if she isn’t popular and only sees one customer a day, the expenses remain the same, so her take-home pay would be 30,000 yen.
With the adult entertainment industry, STIs are a concern. Officially, women are supposed to be allowed to take time off if they get sick, but apparently, in reality, they won’t let you take time off for something as minor as chlamydia. Also, if you miss work without notice, there are reportedly penalties such as fines or being barred from taking bookings for a certain period.

Why not interview with a dating club, a high-end soapland, and a high-end delivery service, in that order, and see how things go? Being interviewed doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be accepted, and once you join, you’re not required to stay there forever. If you don’t succeed, the establishment won’t force you to stay, so you can simply quit by telling them you’re leaving.
