Can someone who was forcibly removed from the club rejoin?

Maezawa from Shacho-shitsu here. Thanks for your question. For men, being permanently banned is reserved for truly serious cases. Even when someone technically deserves a permanent ban, staff may sometimes decide to give them one last chance and see how things go. That’s why anyone who has been permanently banned cannot rejoin. In most cases, they were warned beforehand but repeated the behavior anyway. (The only things that might result in an immediate permanent ban are probably secretly filming someone or drunk driving.) So the staff usually feel that they can’t forgive the person. For women, however, there have been cases where someone was permanently banned even though her grandmother fell ill on her very first date after joining. If several years have passed, there may be a chance of rejoining. That said, rejoining is generally not allowed, so in that situation, I think it would be better to explain honestly that your grandmother really did fall ill. If they believe it truly happened, they may decide that although the rules required a permanent ban, they’re willing to let you register again. Also, a last-minute cancellation refers to cases where the staff were contacted beforehand. If someone was permanently banned for not even contacting the staff and simply failing to show up at the meeting place, naturally, they won’t be allowed to rejoin. So, perhaps there’s a chance only in cases where the rules seem overly strict and there are extenuating circumstances.

Akai from Universe Club’s Tokyo branch here as well. If you’ve been forcibly removed from the club, you cannot rejoin. Our top priority as staff is providing members with satisfactory service. So, although we don’t know the circumstances, we can’t take the risk of allowing a woman who was once forcibly removed to rejoin and potentially causing further trouble.
