I’ve been a female member for about a year. Until around six months ago, I was receiving offers every now and then, but now I’m not getting any at all, so I’m considering leaving the club.

I’m Kazaki from Universe Club Tokyo, and I’d like to answer as well. Have you had a new photo shoot since registering? Even simply getting new photos taken can make male members see you as a woman who’s motivated to stay active. If your profile hasn’t changed at all since you registered a year ago, they may hesitate to make an offer, wondering whether you’re still interested. Why not log in to your profile and update a few things? If you ended your membership and then registered again, there’s no rule that automatically rejects women above a certain age. Some women in their 50s are accepted, while others in their teens or 20s may not be. Many women remain registered for more than a year, so there’s no need to worry about that.

A while back, before COVID, the club was taking a stricter stance. Apparently, women who hadn’t received a single offer were notified about leaving the club after six months. It seems like a shame. They might have received an offer in their seventh or tenth month... However, I don’t think they’re doing that anymore. Also, even back then, this only applied to women who hadn’t received a single offer since joining. So women who had received offers in the past but haven’t gotten any recently shouldn’t be affected. The policies can change from time to time, and different branches may handle things differently, so it can be a little complicated. I think it would be best to remain registered and come in for new photos every six months. If you haven’t had new photos taken recently, this might be a good opportunity to do so. You may then have a better chance of receiving an offer. It’s also possible that your profile was accidentally hidden. Contacting them may prompt them to make it visible again. This can include cases where they contacted you but didn’t receive a reply. Even if a message simply failed to reach you—or your reply didn’t go through—they may temporarily hide your profile because they can’t get in touch with you. For now, getting new photos taken seems like the best option.

I’m Taro, a male member. I see quite a few people who have been registered for over a year. Why not try updating your photos, comments, and marketing approach? If you were still getting offers until about six months ago, I don’t think age is the issue. Instead of holding back, keep pushing. You have nothing to lose by trying. Even if it doesn’t lead to results, you’ll be left with the satisfaction of knowing you gave it your all. Then you can move forward with confidence.

I’m a male member, Paper Airplane. I’ve seen new registrations from women over 50—probably perfectly ordinary Standard members—so if a woman has received offers before, it seems she can re-register regardless of her age. If you’re not getting many offers right now, re-registering might actually lead to more. To men who joined after you left, you’d probably appear more or less like a new member. Women who stop receiving offers probably won’t be forcibly removed, but if they don’t indicate that they want to remain active, they may be considered to have naturally withdrawn and be removed from the site. I think the staff usually checks whether women want to continue, though. But if there haven’t been any offers, you might get put on the back burner and forgotten…

I’m Kazu, a male member. I can’t say how age affects re-registration, so I’ll refrain from commenting on that and only answer what I do know. It doesn’t seem that women are automatically removed from the service just because they haven’t received any offers. Quite a few female members have been registered for over a year. For example, I’m currently considering whether to make an offer to a woman in her late 30s who registered several years ago.
