Tell me how you all relieve stress. I started papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) to unwind, but sometimes papa-katsu itself stresses me out, so I guess there’s no escaping stress... Thanks in advance ✨✨✨

Maezawa from the CEO’s Office here. Thank you for your question. “Papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) started as a way to relieve stress.” I wasn’t quite sure how papa-katsu could help relieve stress. Is it possible that the man started it thinking he’d be able to do whatever he wanted, only to find that it was fundamentally a relationship between two people and therefore didn’t actually relieve his stress? Even in that case, if you find someone you really click with, you may enjoy having meals together or sharing the same hobbies, which I think can at least help reduce stress. Self-centered people aren’t a good choice, but I think there’s nothing wrong with enjoying time with someone you get along with. Although finding that person in the first place can be difficult...

I’m Kazu, a male member. Like the person asking the question, I use my club activities as a way to unwind. Having good sex helps relieve my stress. The only time I’ve felt stressed by my club activities was when strange people started posting questions here. I’ve gotten used to them, so they’re no longer a source of stress—and since I’ve been having good sex, I’m enjoying myself. Like Tetsu, I was curious about the stress the questioner experiences through papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan). P.S. Since the question was about “starting papa-katsu as a way to relieve stress,” I assumed the questioner was a man when I wrote my answer. Were you actually a woman? Women seem more likely to feel stressed by papa-katsu.

I’m Taro, a male member. “Starting papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) to relieve stress” is a new one to me. I didn’t realize people did that. For me, it’s karaoke. I had a rough experience last week too, but after singing alone for three and a half hours, I felt much better.

I’m Kamihikoki, a male member. I guess answering questions here is how I relieve stress… I’m a man, so being with a woman feels like heaven—almost dreamlike.

I’m Tetsu, a male member. I suppose laughing is my way of relieving stress. I watch variety shows alone, talk to the TV, and laugh out loud, much to my family’s exasperation (lol). I’m curious, though—what kind of stress do people experience from papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan)?
