Do you prefer straight black hair, or do you like brown hair and other colors better?

I’m Fullerene, a male member! I like women with bright-colored hair! Blonde, red, green—any color is fine. If everything else were the same, I’d probably choose a blonde over someone with black hair. That said, I’m aware I’m in the minority. You said: “Sometimes I’m surprised that there are even people who tell you not to get your ears pierced. LOL” But among male members, this isn’t really considered surprising. You can be confident in your own sense of what’s normal, but you should really understand that it’s quite different from the papa supporters’ idea of what’s normal. I’m getting nervous that you might step on a landmine someday.

Mamiya from Universe Tokyo here. I do think the combination of long black hair, a refined and innocent look, a youthful vibe (plus a large bust), and a high academic background taps into many men’s idealized image of youth. I’ve had long, straight black hair for the past two years as well. The only person who compliments it is my hairstylist. Blunt bangs are somewhat popular with younger men, but they didn’t go over particularly well with the papa generation. At this point, my only goal for growing it out is donating it. The happiest option is to find someone who appreciates the hairstyle you want for yourself. But if you’re doing it for the money, then go with the papa-preferred look and stick with it.

I’m in Seattle. I like women with black hair and no piercings. I only make offers to women with black hair. When they switch to a flashy color, I gradually lose interest. Since black hair is a minority, it’s a convenient way to narrow things down at the first stage. I’m not saying you have to dye your hair black or stop wearing piercings. Black hair appeals to older men, so it’s probably a good way to fool classy women—and a fool like me. Satomi Ishihara, Yui Aragaki, and Minami Hamabe all have black hair, don’t they? That’s what I mean.

Maezawa from the CEO’s office here—I’ll answer too. Thanks for your question. Men above a certain age tend to like black hair. I’m not entirely sure why, but it’s a fact. Maybe it’s because we grew up with the image that, when we were students, dyeing your hair or getting a perm was prohibited at school, anyone who broke the rules was labeled a delinquent, and delinquents would eventually become yakuza. You might think that’s ancient history, but at the company I used to work for, dyed hair was prohibited too. (笑) Naturally, breaking the rule could get you suspended, and some female employees ended up quitting altogether. It may have been because it was a publicly listed company, but there are still conservative workplaces like that. I think it’s worth knowing that such environments still exist. That said, while black hair is preferred, there aren’t many people who actually dislike brown hair. If you ask which they prefer, they’ll probably say black hair—that’s about the level of it. There are also women with pink, green, or white hair. Personally, I’m fine with any hair color, but you should keep in mind that not everyone feels the same way. As for piercings, some people may wonder, “Why would you intentionally injure your own body?”

I’m Kazu, a male member who prefers women with black hair. Piercings and tattoos don’t bother me, but I’m not a big fan of very light brown hair. It can make someone seem frivolous and as though they don’t have a steady job. That said, I don’t tell my partners what to wear, so unless they ask, I keep my personal preferences to myself.
